London Fashion Week is fast approaching and we can’t wait to see what the designers have in store as they show at the shiny new Brewers Street venue. As everyone prepares for a week full of shows starting on the 18th   September we have been doing a little prep ourselves. As such we are proud to launch the official Charity Fashion Live website in preparation for our very own show!

What’s all the fuss about?

This Spring Summer Fashion Week we are super excited to announce that Charity Fashion Live will be bringing London Fashion Week to Oxfam. In a bid to recreate London Fashion Week Looks, just moments after they appear on the LFW catwalk we are thrilled to be teaming up with Recycle for London and Love Your Clothes to bring you a London Fashion Week show with a difference. We want to prove that second hand threads can be totally on trend!

We invite you to join us on the 19th September as Stylist Emma Slade Edmondson and the Charity Fashion live team show us how to recreate London Fashion week looks using Charity Shop clothing. Once again Emma will be demonstrating how to get the look by recreating designer looks after they appear on the #LFW live stream. She’ll do this using only the clothing available in an Oxfam store at the time.

And if that wasn’t enough excitement London Fashion and lifestyle photographer Rachel Manns will be on hand to capture the looks as they come down our Charity Fashion Live catwalk and you’ll be able to join in with the fun by following us at @CharityFashLive on twitter and @CharityFashionLive on Instagram to catch all of our live updates as the action unfolds. What’s more if you fancy getting your hands on your very own London Fashion Week inspired look – there’s a treasure trove of gems to buy just waiting for you @OxfamFashion – just visit www.oxfamshops.org

If you miss this you can always catch all the action by checking back her on the 21st September to watch our short film.

To get you in the mood – have a look at come of last years Charity Fashion Live pics below or watch the film. We’d love to know what your favourite looks were, whether you’ll be watching us this year and what designers you think we should recreate this time around – so give us a shout.
