Charity Fashion Live is nothing if it’s not *FIERCE*. We’d be so bold as to claim that it’s the fiercest of fashion shows around…

And why do we audaciously make this claim?

Well it’s simple… You’ve got to have pretty big balls to turn around Fashion Week Looks, immediately after watching them presented on the catwalk, using only what you find on one single day, in one single charity shop.

Want to know more?

We thought you might so here’s the low down.

The Charity Fashion Live event sees a team of fashion fanatics lead by stylist Emma Slade Edmondson recreate London Fashion Week Looks, just moments after they emerge on the catwalk, using only what they find in a charity shop.

This year we’ve partnered with wonderful children’s charity Barnardo’s and with the support of Love Your Clothes London we’ll be setting our sites on February’s Autumn Winter catwalk shows!

Follow us  on facebook to watch the live action! We’ll even give you styling tips and tricks as we go!

But why the big challenge?

We want to prove that you don’t have to spend lots to be bang on trend and that second hand threads are totally on fleek!

Did you know?

  • 350,000 tonnes of used clothing goes to landfill every year and it’s worth around £140 million
  • In the average person’s wardrobe in the UK around 30% of clothing hasn’t been worn in over a year. The worth of this unused clothing is around £30billion!
  • Extending the active life of our clothing by just 3 months could reduce our carbon, water and waste footprints by up to 10%!
