Festival season is in full flow and and whether you’re headed to party at Shambala, Reading or SW4 you gotta make sure you’re hot to trot. Here’s some inspiration we pulled together on a recent pit stop to our local Oxfam. We’ll bet if you head down to your local charity shop you can get festival ready in no time…

If folk rock is your festival style of choice – get that rock chick vibe going with an oversized shirt, synched at the waist with a leather belt. Layer on some black and be sure to add glitz – use chunky jewellery and some dark sunnies to complete your effortlessly cool look. It’s all in the detail so mix your textures and patterns like a pro, keeping the tonal colours in the same family. The black velvet jacket with gold detail bring the glam and add the oomph to this look!

If you’re a hippy chick at heart  – rummage around for bold graphic flower prints, a crochet vest or dress, some jersey print flairs, or tassels to make your homage to 70′s style.

Flower Power Girls – if you’re all about the flower crown and floral prints – keep it simple and let the accessories and one statement print piece do all the work.

Come rain or shine ravers – for those of you that don’t stop raving come rain or shine – work your look around the forecast and go mono all weekend switching out one black pattern for another each day. Only one pair of wellies required!
